Trident Training employs the Systems Approach to Training methodology to develop and deliver specialist training courses. Trident are partnered with Buckinghamshire New University to deliver a programme of continuous and progressive professional development.  No other training provider offers this level of professional training.

Trident provides a benchmark training standard that ensures that maritime security professionals gain the necessary knowledge and skills to provide best practice standards of service to their clients. Our maritime security awareness courses and anti-piracy workshops also provide mariners with critical pre-deployment training for operations in, or passages through hostile waters globally. This training is a fundamental requirement for anyone preparing to sail on the high seas. STCW safety training is delivered by our joint venture partner Poole Harbour Sea Survival Ltd. Maritime Security Workshop

Trident deliver bespoke anti-piracy and armed robbery, anti-terrorism and activist prevention workshops and Incident Management exercises to companies at corporate and operational level.

         

Masters Security Awareness

The MSA course has been carefully designed for ships Masters, in order to provide an important level of maritime security awareness knowledge.

         

Crew Security Awareness & Response course (CSAR)

The CSAR course has been developed as a result of the clear training requirement for ships crews to receive Emergency Response training in the event of a hijacking incident.

         

Maritime Security Operator (MSO) NQF Level 4 University-accredited short course - £690 +VAT

The Trident MSO course provides security professionals with the essential knowledge and skills required to provide maritime security services for the commercial and private maritime shipping and offshore industry sectors. It is suitable for field operators, watch keepers, operations managers and company directors new to the Marsec industry.

         

Maritime Security Team Leader (MSTL) - £690 + VAT

The MSTL course provides experienced Maritime Security Operators with the knowledge and skills needed to operate as a Team Leader of a Maritime Security Team, or undertake a specialist offshore maritime security advisor role. Precursor course: Trident Maritime Security Operator (MSO)

         

MIRIS International Trident Maritime Security Operator Course NQF Level 4 course - £690 +VAT

The MIRIS International MSO course is delivered by Trident Operations Limited, as the training received conforms to their stringent basic entry standards. The MSO course is preceded by a one day personnel induction course, which incorporates a vetting and selection process, as well as formal briefing on MIRIS International core values and work ethics.

         

STCW 95 Personal Survival Techniques

The Standard of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) code requires all seafarers to receive familiarisation and basic safety training or instruction in accordance with section A-VI/1. You will be made aware of safety procedures, the safety equipment available, employment conditions and the working environment on board a merchant vessel. This is essential information that will keep yourself, your crew members and passengers safe.

         

STCW 95 Elementary First-Aid

The Standard of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) code requires all seafarers to receive familiarisation and basic safety training or instruction in accordance with section A-VI/1. You will be made aware of safety procedures, the safety equipment available, employment conditions and the working environment on board a merchant vessel. This is essential information that will keep yourself, your crew members and passengers safe.

         

STCW 95 Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting

The STCW 95 Fire fighting module is delivered as part of the Trident MSO Offshore Professional package. Prospective students must be trained Trident MSO's prior to loading onto this course, or be enrolled on the MSO Offshore Professional Programme.

         

STCW 95 Personal Safety and Social Responsibility

Trident Maritime Trauma Course £470 +VAT (25% off for Trident MSO's until October 2012)

The 3-day TMTC course is specifically focused on non-invasive trauma management and covers prolonged care. the course culminates in a practical assessment aboard a commercial vessel, to put the training into context.

         

MSO Offshore Pro - Trident RADNAV Course £250 +VAT

The Trident RADNAV course offers students the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Radar Certificate and Trident Maritime Navigation certificate of achievement. To put the training into context, the two-day course is focussed on maritime security scenarios and is designed to improve MSO competency and credibility.
